Consider the Lilies…

Look at the lilies and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? – Luke 12:27-28 (New Living Translation)

  1. Lovely shots, Bonnie. This passage is probably one of my favorites because it follows what I believe.
Worry does no good. It changes nothing, basically, it is a grand waste of life. The system/God/Nature/Tao works.

I learn a lot from looking at my bird feeder. The birds don’t worry if there will be food there. If there is, they will eat, if not, they will eat elsewhere. When the food is returned, they will return. They don’t worry that there was a cat five minutes ago; they return to the feeder just the same. For them, there is only now and it is impossible to worry in the now because all is known in the now.

Nature takes care of them just the same as it takes care of us, but we insist upon worrying.

    Great thoughts today!
