Yosemite’s Grandeur

Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.
– John Muir

Last March I visited Yosemite National Park for the very first time. It was one of the most breathtakingly sights, not only for its sheer beauty, but because the onslaught of summer tourists hadn’t yet arrived.

  1. Beautiful image, Bonnie. I only got to visit Yosemite once so far and only for one day in the middle of winter. I took one extra day at the end of a business trip to see it. Unfortunately, it was overcast, raining, and snowing, so my photos were terrible. That was many years ago back in the days of film. I’m glad to see you got much better results.

  2. Gorgeous! I’ve been here many times, have you on bloglines even, but never left a comment. Thank you for the breathtaking pictures and beautiful quotes–I’m always touched by your images.
