…arrive hungry, leave inspired!

The Road to Crater Lake

“Twenty years from now you will be disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the one’s you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” -Mark Twain

I’m standing on the fringes of a brand-new year. None of us knows what this year will bring, and when we wish someone a “Happy new year!” we probably don’t want to take into account that every year will bring ups and downs, joys and sorrow, celebration and difficulties. That’s life in a nutshell.  I’m very grateful to know that whatever 2012 brings, I know that I won’t travel it alone. My faith is rooted in God, who promises to never leave or forsake me, and I’ve seen him work in amazing ways before, in situations that seemed impossible. So today, I’m eager to face that new year with that promise in mind. Wishing you all the best in your journey ahead!
