…arrive hungry, leave inspired!

God gives every bird its food, but He does not throw it into its nest.  ~J.G. Holland

Last winter it seemed that the colder it got, the more birds found my backyard. This little fellow landed on a skinny branch and sat there overseeing a squawky scrub jay. Didn’t budge an inch for at least ten minutes, until the jay left. Which reminds me…I need to refill some feeders!

(*Thanks to all who have sent notes wondering where I’ve been. I’ve been working on lenses over at Squidoo.com since August. Will try to post photos more regularly as we draw closer to Spring.)

  2. I so want to hold that little bird in the palm of my hand. Precious. Also a wonderful quote that made me think.
