Sunflower

It’s wonderful to climb the liquid mountains of the sky. Behind me and before me is God and I have no fears. – Helen Keller

This photo is in memory of my precious mom, who passed away four years ago today. She loved God and family…books and chocolate…mystery movies…the scent of lilac…the color pink…& SUNFLOWERS!

  4. Bonnie it sounds like your mom and I would have had a lot in common. Nice to see you pay homage to her with such a wonderful post and photo. Sunflowers as you know are one of my loves! Hellen Keller is one of my greatest inspirational people along with Teddy Roosevelt and Rembrandt and my grandfather and dad!!! What a list!

Nice to learn about your mom.

  7. I love sunflowers in black and white. The light made some wonderful shadow details. The framing is spot on too.
