Busy as a Bee

Work to me is a sacred thing.
– Margaret Bourke-White (1904–1971), a well-known photographer for Life magazine. She continued to work long after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, which eventually took her life.

This pollen-heavy bee was preparing for liftoff when I spotted it on the leaf of a sunflower this morning.
